How did I get here?
​From being a young girl I’ve always been obsessed with the world of fantasy and film. Transfixed by the stories that transport you to another world. I could never act, but my artistic traits could carry me into the world of production. I began to research the world of makeup artistry (long before instagram and TikTok were a thing) and fell in love with the art of special effects and theatre makeup. I managed to secure a place studying makeup straight after school, taking my small portfolio of work I’d collected, mainly from local theatre shows and homemade productions, and started my professional training.
I spent my years training, broadening my skill set, learning new techniques, styles and even how to do hair. I had the opportunity to work as a makeup artist in some prestigious salons, where I was able to have the level of treatment that ultimate healed my acne. Something I had battled hard with since my early teens. I was obsessed with learning everything I could about skincare; ingredients and how advanced treatment could transform your skin. To support myself through all of my training I began to take on local bridal work.

And I fell in love.

Being part of those raw, life long moments full of love was something so magical.
I still love all aspects of makeup and enjoy all avenues of this craft, but bridal work to me is so rewarding. Making somebody feel beautiful, empowering them, sharing those special moments is an honour and I feel like I’ve really found my place in the industry.
It’s more than makeup.
